FVHD Architects + Planners is pleased to announce that Jason Dubowitch has passed the Architectural Registration Examination and Melissa Thomson has passed the National Council for Interior Designer Qualification (NCIDQ) Examination.
Jason Dubowitch has successfully completed the examination process and is now a licensed architect in Pennsylvania.
Jason joined our team in May of 2002, gaining experience with architectural building design from pre-design analysis through construction documents and construction administration. Specializing in the design of academic facilities, Jason has been a leader on the project team for many addition and renovation projects including Central Bucks Tamanend and Lenape Middle Schools, Monmouth Regional High School, Rahway High School, Pennsbury High School West and Mercer County Technical Schools. He participated in the design for new schools at Greater Egg Harbor Regional Cedar Creek High, Jackson Liberty High School, Northern Burlington Middle School and Upper Freehold Stonebridge Middle School. Jason has served as lead project manager for many of the firm’s photovoltaic (solar) design projects. In addition, he has served as a leader in the firm’s efforts to improve technology, graphics and overall operations.
He graduated from the Philadelphia University with a Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) and a minor in digital design. He is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
FVHD is pleased to announce that Melissa Thomson, an Interior Designer at FVHD, recently passed the National Council for Interior Designer Qualification (NCIDQ) Examination and earned her NCIDQ Certificate.
Melissa joined FVHD’s Interior Design Studio in 2007, working on a variety of projects including academic, municipal and commercial interiors. She introduces different color and textures along with new and innovative products to create environments that respond to our clients needs while enhancing the finished spaces. Some of her most recent projects include Rahway Public Schools Grover Cleveland Addition/Alteration, Rahway High School Performing Arts Center and Science Wing Addition/Alteration, Essex County College Media Production / Technology Center, the new Cedar Creek High School and Langston Hughes Library Addition and Renovation at Lincoln University.
Melissa graduated from Philadelphia University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.
