BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING IN THE SOMERVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT!

Exciting progress is underway at Van Derveer Elementary School as we expand and enhance learning spaces for Somerville’s youngest students! This major pre-school project for the Somerville Public School District includes:

Three brand-new pre-school classrooms to support growing enrollment. Renovations to four existing classrooms for an improved learning environment and a brand-new accessible playground designed for 3 and 4 year-olds.

This transformative project is set to be completed by September 2026, and we can’t wait to see these spaces come to life! Stay tuned for updates as we build the future of early education!
