Project Planning: The Real Five-Year Plan
This Learning Lab will focus on describing the process of planning for facilities projects beyond the LRFP five-year requirement. The presentation will advise participants on how and when to plan projects over the course of five years including the timing, resources, costs, discussion on how to plan and keep trak of progress throughtout the year to coincide with key BOE milestones, culminatng in how a project goes from the planning phase to implementation.

Capital Projects- Realities and Strategies
In this presentation we will examine the realities of dealing with facilities issues and methodologies for getting projects done.  We will discuss the relationships between the BA, BOE members, facilities staff and design professionals.  We will consider strategies for implementation and discuss pitfalls.  With two well-seasoned BAs as moderators, we will consider real life examples vs. pre-conceived notions about what it takes to have a successful project.
